PF “TES-Centre” implements the component “Strengthening the natural honey value chain” funded by the Government of Finland within the framework of the project “Trade Facilitation in Central Asia” of the United Nations Development Program. Within the framework of the project, a national round table on “Increasing the export potential of honey in the Kyrgyz Republic through improving honey quality” was organized on October 7 in Bishkek. The round table was attended by governmental bodies related to the topic, honey industry cooperatives, honey processing enterprises, and beekeeping equipment workshops. Attendees expressed their opinions and there were heated discussions. The purpose of the roundtable was to create a platform to discuss the problem that exists in the honey industry today and find solutions for it. At the end of the roundtable, a resolution was passed. To send the adopted resolution to the relevant governmental bodies and stimulate further action.
