The event was organized by the TES Center Public Foundation in cooperation with the Zhar-Bashy Agricultural Cooperative. It brought together representatives of government institutions, agricultural experts, farmers, financial organizations, development partners, and seed potato producers.

The main objective of the event was to showcase practical experience in elite seed potato production under mountainous conditions, introduce modern cultivation technologies, demonstrate the seed quality assurance system, and discuss future opportunities for the development of the sector.

During the Field Day, participants learned about modern technologies for producing S, SE, and E category seed potatoes, visited demonstration fields, explored the seed quality assurance system, and received information on the advantages of the Camelia and Colomba potato varieties.

The organizers also presented the activities of the Zhar-Bashy Agricultural Cooperative, its production and marketing model for seed potatoes, and the application of green economy principles in seed potato production. Participants were introduced to the results of a comparative economic analysis of locally produced elite seed potatoes and imported seed materials.

The practical session included a visit to the cooperative's office, where participants observed seed grading equipment and modern agricultural machinery used in seed potato production.

The Field Day served as an important platform for knowledge sharing, professional networking, and discussions on strengthening cooperation among farmers, agricultural specialists, government agencies, financial institutions, and development organizations.

The organizers expressed their sincere appreciation to all participants, partners, and guests for their active involvement and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration in advancing high-quality seed potato production in the Kyrgyz Republic.
