TES Centre organized a field day in Aral village of Nookat district on the topic “Development of Vegetable Production through the Use of Water-Saving Technologies under Climate Change Conditions.”
The event was held within the framework of the “Value Chain Agro Finance” project. The project is financed by the European Union, the European Investment Bank (EIB), and the German Development Bank (KfW), and is being implemented by TES Centre together with an agricultural cooperative.
The project is implemented by the German consulting company GOPA AFC in consortium with the local consulting company GOPA-CAICo, with the support and active participation of the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Since 2020, the project has been providing comprehensive support to farmers, contributing to the annual production of 2,000–3,000 tons of early-ripening onions.
During the field day, participants learned about water-saving technologies, modern vegetable-growing methods, and shared practical farming experiences.
Such events contribute to the introduction of innovative agricultural approaches, efficient use of water resources, and the development of sustainable agricultural production.
