Launch of an artificial insemination program as part of the “Development of Sustainable Agroclusters” project
The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, together with the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, is implementing the “Development of Sustainable Agroclusters” project with the support of the World Bank.

➡️ The program is being implemented through the Central Treasury and the Key Projects Management Department of the Ministry of Finance.
One of the key components of the project is the development of dairy farming through the launch of an artificial insemination (AI) program in the Chui, Jalal-Abad, and Naryn regions.

➡️ It is planned to inseminate 20,000 cows and heifers with semen from high-quality Shvitska, Simmental, and Holstein bulls from the Swiss company Swissgenetics.

📌 Benefits for farmers:
▪️Reduction in the cost of the service to 500–700 soms
▪️Increased productivity and breeding qualities
▪️Growth in income and sustainability of farms

➡️ The implementation of the program has been entrusted to the TES Center in consortium with the Zoloto Doliny Agricultural Holding, which provides:
▪️75 qualified insemination technicians
▪️Supplies of semen, liquid nitrogen, and methodological support.

📅 Launch stages:
▪️May 3 and 6, 2025 — launch in Chui and Jalal-Abad regions
▪️May 16, 2025 — launch in Naryn, where a regional seminar was held. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister B. Torobaev, representatives of regional and local authorities, as well as relevant services.

🎯 The program aims to improve the efficiency of livestock farming and develop sustainable agriculture in the Kyrgyz Republic.
