The main objective of the event was to provide farmers with detailed information on the agrotechnical characteristics of new potato varieties being tested under local conditions, as well as to promote modern agricultural technologies.

The field day was held at the farm of Khurshidbek Sodikov and brought together representatives of local self-government bodies, specialists from the district agricultural development department, and local farmers.

During the event, several thematic stations were organized, where participants were introduced to:

• new potato varieties and their agrotechnological features;
• a comparative economic analysis of the varieties;
• information on the supply chain for providing farmers with quality seeds.

Participants also had the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session, exchange experiences, and discuss practical aspects of potato cultivation.

Such initiatives contribute to improving farmers’ knowledge, introducing innovative practices, and supporting the sustainable development of agriculture.
