Information meetings on artificial insemination of cattle
Good news for farmers in the Jalal-Abad region!
🗓 From June 10 to 19, 2025, as part of the “Development of Sustainable Agroclusters” project, important informational meetings on artificial insemination of dairy cattle were held.
📍This large-scale project is being implemented by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of the World Bank.
The meetings brought together key industry experts: heads of district agricultural development departments (RUAR) and veterinary departments, private veterinarians, insemination technicians, veterinary specialists from aiyl okmotu, as well as representatives of private farms.
CKA staff and TES Centre specialists provided detailed information about the project's objectives and activities aimed at increasing the productivity of the dairy and fruit and berry sectors.
➡️ Particular attention was paid to the importance of artificial insemination (AI) for the development of dairy farming. As part of the project in the Jalal-Abad region, it is planned to carry out AI on 6,000 cows and heifers with semen from high-quality Swiss, Simmental, and Holstein bulls imported from Switzerland.
This is a significant step towards improving herd genetics, increasing milk productivity and, as a result, increasing the income of our farmers!
