TES-Centre promotes the development of the Issyk-Kul dairy sector!

As part of the project on integrated productivity improvement of the dairy sector in Issyk-Kul region, TES-Center conducted trainings on agrotechnics of fodder crops for farmers who received loans for dairy cows and quality seeds.
Farmers from Cholpon village of Ak-Suu district have already purchased 35 tons of barley of the first reproduction variety “Atalyk”, using part of the loan funds allocated for certified seeds. This will improve the fodder base and increase barley yields on 140 hectares belonging to 29 farmers - members of SMPA.

The initiative aims at the integrated development of the region's dairy sector, including improving livestock breeds and providing farmers with the knowledge and resources to grow quality fodder, thereby improving the productivity and sustainability of their farms.
